| Description | • Product line and territories/sales reps will be assigned • Answer heavy volume of incoming customer calls and emails * Check order status * When will it ship; when did it ship * Short shipments * Defective Products * Add to existing orders * Questions about product; product dimensions * Product availability • Enter orders using custom order-entry software • Utilize custom software to ensure on time, efficient shipping • Interact with shipping department and manufacturing to assure customer satisfaction • Follow up on customer order changes • Enter replacement part orders using call log • Enter information for credits using call log • Enter catalog/price list requests using call log • Handle minor freight issues | |
| Qualifications | • Ability to multi task – answer phone and enter orders • Experience in providing quality customer service • Superior phone and email etiquette – verbal and written communication skills • Experience with high volume email correspondence • Excellent attendance record • Ability to use various office machines • Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel and the internet • Experience in furniture is preferred but not required | |
