Employment Control, Inc. (“ECI”), a leading regional provider of commercial temporary staffing services, announced today that it has acquired Temporary Professionals, Inc. in Owensboro, KY with the support of its financial partners, Harbert Mezzanine Partners and Claritas Capital. Jointly, these private investment firms have provided more than $350 million to fund acquisitions over the last ten years, and they are committed to providing resources for the continued growth of ECI.  TPI founders Gary & Meg Boswell were advised throughout the acquisition process by Frances Tannehill with Comspec Management Group. 

Temporary Professionals, Inc., a market leader for twenty-seven years, provides staffing services to the top employers in Daviess and surrounding counties in the manufacturing, distribution/logistics, and financial services sectors.

Employment Control, headquartered in Shelby, North Carolina, operates under the Employment Staffing, Inc. (“ESI”) brand through thirteen branches and three on-site locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Maryland. Employment Staffing has a twenty-five year track record of stability and success in providing personnel to the industry verticals; manufacturing, distribution/logistics, medical products, and on-line sales support.
